Cowboy Night @ Seafarer Rest

No one in their right mind would dare to miss a weekend party hosted by their friends. Well, I had to miss one this weekend because of ill health. The old heart pump was actively groaning, sweat glands doing the hyper drive whilst palpitating profusely & there was clear evidence of shortness of breath, with overall feelings of malaise. I must be in love.
Or, I must have taken / had eaten all the wrong kinds of protein, gluten and carbs all through the weekday and had to pay for it over Thursday through Sunday. Taught me a lesson on the mores of eating right and my darling must have had a vindictive moment as she had always urged me to watch what I eat. But the poor thing must have also lost some sleep worrying about this old goat's stubborn old ways!

I never do that. Learn to eat right I mean. For someone who used to train and lecture weightlifters at competition level, I know what foods are good, what foods are bad and what foods are just downright ugly on the human digestive system but I never listen to my own advise.

A glutton for punishment, I am.
I just gulp and grab whatever is thrown at me.
Serves me right!
Anyway, now I am feeling quite better and therefore here I am back again.  Tormenting you with my writings.

I feel so good these days because of the activation of my kama. I do so love being in love. It affords one the sense of being Limitless. I am talking about dreams and the feeling of being in love. Dreams are the only place and time when we can be whatever we want to be. We can dream up a world for us and be the king and queen of it. We can even be (shriek, puke, groan-blasphemy!) HAPPY in our dreams.

But always the caveat dear reader: (yes mom... that means you) -between dreams and fantasy- do not lose yourself in that fantasy.
This fantasy rides are good on movie screens and for a momentary bit of creative fun, but dreams are the ones which give fuel to our everyday work. If we don't dream to be in a higher sense of being,  of being in a euphoria of everlasting love, peace and happiness, we may not even dream to achieve it.  Dream big and work towards it.
Ask ....and you will receive
So, what’s the worst that can happen……..well,the one that you drool and dream about could be a married woman with 2 angelic kids and in a happy family.

WHAT? Screech……. stop ! spinning,,,,,,, Crash  &…burn
(Standing with hat in hand overlooking the funeral pyre):
There but for the grace of god burns in ambers and smoking grief another happy thought………..
Ah well, Que sera sera. Another day another dream that did not come true. So tell me …… what else is new?

What is a 'HINDU' ?

In 1995, Chief Justice P. B. Gajendragadkarwas quoted in anIndian Supreme Court ruling:

When we think of the Hindu religion, unlike other religions in the world, the Hindu religion does not claim any one prophet; it does not worship any one god; it does not subscribe to any one dogma; it does not believe in any one philosophic concept; it does not follow any one set of religious rites or performances; in fact, it does not appear to satisfy the narrow traditional features of any religion orcreed. It may broadly be described as away of life and nothing more.

Common Misunderstandings on Hinduism

Vedanta (and all Hinduism) is entirely monistic, believing only in the all-pervading world-soul, Brahman, rather than a personal God

This advaita philosophy is certainly popular, and offers a simple explanation of the many deities. Nonetheless, many theologians have considered God to be a person. He is not merely an anthropomorphic representation, nor are the various deities and murtis simply incarnations or representations of an impersonal Supreme.

Thus Hinduism includes both monism and monotheism. It is misleading to call the Abrahamic religions,"the monotheistic traditions," implying that monotheism is absent from the Eastern traditions. Vedanta includes many monotheistic schools. They may accept the existence of many gods and goddesses, but strongly emphasizes the pre-eminence of the Supreme Deity.
