Meeting this morning went smoothly attended by President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Exco members and guests. Meeting started at 11.05am.
Mr.Kumar representing Persatuan Bahan Lusuh attended as well as our overseas member Ashraf who was in town on visit. A tour of the new Association office was given by Mr.bharat and it would be manned by our volunteer Mr.Krishnan in the short term.
Those who wish to help us cover our staff and office costs are encouraged to do so by contributing RM150.00 to help us move things along. We humbly thank those blessed souls who have already contributed to this kitty.

Bharat has through his own effort managed to acquire access to Putrajaya Govt Office to help facilitate members acquire Foreign Labor permits. No agents involved. If interested members documents are all in order, Pls contact our new office for further details on how to proceed for permits.
On August 12th a meeting @6pm in Malacca Straits hotel with Datuk Mahadevan and his Youth division members will be conducted.
(whereby he will assist to provide us with quorum to our GST seminar on 6th September.) Members are encouraged to attend this meet.
IEcM has been invited to attend a high level function hosted by Persatuan Besi Lusuh on 20th August In Hotel Permaisuri near Stadium Hang Jebat to discuss on matters affecting their industry. IEcM Members interested to join in please provide your name to us to be forwarded to Mr.Kumar on or before the 12th this month.
On 23rd August IEcM will be hosting a 'Hari Raya Bersama' networking dinner with the Indonesian High Commissioner and his countries business attache in attendance priced at RM 35.00 per seat. Members are encouraged to purchase tickets for this networking session early as seats are limited to allow time for discussion/networking.
On 30th August, an opportunity to dine with the Sri Lankan High Commissioner and his attache is presented to IEcM members in his house in KL. Members interested to attend this dinner is encouraged to book their seats with us in advance to enable us in liasing with consulate on final number of attendees. Limited to 25 members.(The Sri Lankan govt is also inviting our members to attend their International Trade Fair in Sri Lanka on 25. Sept 2014 as they will be able to host us once we are there. Discount will also be offered to interested parties on the Air Lanka flight)
Finally, The GST seminar conducted on 6th Sept was discussed.
