Mummy is not feeling too well these days, as her left eye is giving her migraines and headaches. She had surgery on that eye a year and half a go and she's regretted it since. To help her relieve her pain, she is quite fastidious about her diet and health and thesedays won't even stand by the Hot stove anymore bacause it makes her bad eye water incessantly.
We tried refering her back to the surgeon but was told there was nothing much they could do about it as her diabetes and blood pressure problems are interfering with her recovery and body's ability to assimilate the new eye layer.
So much for the comfort of new health care.
Another gripe that's been a bug up my ass is that traffic these days in my housing estate is getting worse as the new influx of residents and students into Bukit Beruang keeps getting higher and higher with every passing year. It doesn't help that alongside the various facilities and administrative ofices being built around these area, many wonderful Food Courts and Restaurants keep on popping out here !
If this keeps up, very soon we'll have to move out again to somewhere quiter and with less traffic but since the last time I shifted house was in 1984, I don't know if me and the missus can do it all over again !
My eldest son,Utheya just got back from his 6 day trip to Macau and Hong Kong, and he droppped in on us the Friday after, with the Grandkids in tow for a day of fun and relaxation.
Michelle '
kempunan' never see the grandkids for a week, so she was very happy to play with the girls and keep them constantly by her side, though Nicole does tend to keep her granny all out of breath !
Then grandpa has to bring out the medicated oitment and '
koyok' to massage granny's poor muscle aches.....poor grandpa !
Later that evening we all were invited by Joey's mum to join them for a delicious spread of BBQ'ed and Grilled fish in Alai. I didn't know we were going to be invited out that evening and had prepared some prawn sambal and stimmed pomfret with last night's chicken curry at home, but fortunately Chandra and mummy said they did not feel like going out for dinner and preferred to eat in.
That meant the food we had readied would not go to waste. Any ways, later that evening chandra's friends all came along to help him finish up whatever left over he and mummy could not finish, so I suppose that was good news.
