THE MIDDLE EAST MADNESS - A LONG TERM SOLUTION

This is the present map of the Middle East. This map is about the entire problem with this wretched land. 

This map was drawn up by the colonials, mostly the British and the French.

For example there is an Armenia now (independent from Russia since 1990). The problem is there are 11 million Armenians but only 3 million live inside independent Armenia.  

The balance 8 million Armenians  live across the border in adjacent countries.  When the colonials drew the maps, they dissected the Armenian territories into bits and pieces. This is the problem.

Another hugely wronged group are the Kurds. There are over 35 million Kurds. However the territories of these 35 million Kurds were chopped up and spread out over Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Syria. 

The Kurds have never had their own country - until 2003 when northern Iraq became autonomous Kurdistan. 

Again their territories were chopped up by 19th and 20th century colonials redrawing the Middle Eastern maps using candle light and after consuming too much wine.

Under Saddam Hussein the Kurds had no problems living in political Iraq. Now post Saddam, they were sidelined again. But the Kurds have been ruling northern Iraq autonomously for 13 years, since the ouster of Saddam in 2003.  Their leader is called Barzanji - who does not appear to be retiring any time soon (another future trouble causing event).

The other tribal groups will be the non Wahhabi tribes of Saudi Arabia.  

These will be the Shias in eastern Saudi Arabia as well as regular Sunni tribes in central Saudi Arabia, people who may not believe in the 'al Saud - al Wahabi family' marriage of convenience that has been messing up the land for over 200 years.  

Another big group will be the tribal people of Yemeni history who are now caught inside the Saudi borders. They are actually Yemenis with a tribal and sectarian identity different from the Wahhabis. There will be no peace until those people are returned to Yemen.That means Saudi Arabia must shrink and Yemen must increase in size.  

In the new map of the Middle East below, you can see a new but shrunken "Islamic Sacred State" encompassing the pilgrimage cities of  Mecca and Medina.  

Will this Sacred State be controlled by the Wahabis aka Saudis? I dont think so. 

The Iranians have long said that Mecca and Medina should be put under 'international jurisdiction' like the UN or the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Chickens). I believe Dr Mahathir has suggested the same thing once before (not the chickens lah).  

I think the Saudis are going to be history soon.

 

Look at the map of Afghanistan above. The map does not show that there are Pushtuns, Baluchis, Tajiks, Pathans inside one border, all speaking different languages and professing different flavours of the same fictional beliefs. A very potent mix. That is why this land is condemned to war and fighting.

The Middle East needs some serious re-engineering. 

A better map of the Middle East (there is no perfect solution ok) will be as drawn below here in 2006 (sadly by the George Bush-Condoleeza Rice murderous cabal). This 'Map of the new Middle East' is the product of a Pentagon think tank and was "officially" presented to Nato in Rome in 2006 (for their information only). It caused some controversy with Turkey filing a complaint with NATO.   

This map takes into consideration the different ethnic, sectarian, tribal, religious, linguistic etc differences found in the Middle East.

Here is the interesting part : today, as you are reading this, Iraq is already divided into three parts with Kurdish northern Iraq administering itself quite well for 13 years. 

This "New Map of the Middle East" drawn up under George Bush-Condoleeza Rice in 2006 is already taking shape. It is coming into being.

There already is an independent Armenia - which will have to expand its territory.  

That is where the moron Erdogan comes in. There are about 100,000 Armenians inside Turkey. There used to be two million until 1914 but in that year the Turks massacred over one million Armenians. 

Erdogan is now leading Turkey down a path of picking fights with his neighbors. The moron never learnt from history. The last time the Turks did that (in WW1) they lost their empire and their territories.  I think Turkey will lose territory to Armenia.

Back to Afghanistan, the new map shows a Baluchistan. I believe there will also be a Pushtunistan with its capital at Kandahar - the center of the Pushtun people.  

The ethnic identity is a major pull factor.  Ethnicity seems to be able to overcome a lot of other differences.  Religion can never be a uniting factor, even among people of the same ethnicity. 

Religion divides people. That is the nature of religion. Hence all religions are fake. (Err..True Islam from the Quran is a deen ok, a way of life.)

So what about Malaysia folks?  Will Sarawak and Sabah pursue a separate destiny?  I dont think there will be a combined "Sabah-Sarawak" two-state system.

I once met a senior Policeman who had served in Sabah. He said, 'Kenapalah kita pergi ambil dia orang, muka lain, bahasa lain, agama lain, nama semua lain'.  This was a senior Policeman (OCPD ranking).

The Royals in Johor seem to be on a tangent of their own.  Singapore is geographically  part of Johor.  Looking  at a half full glass, the very shallow Straits of Johor connect rather than divide.  

Here is some interesting trivia, the last 'Malayan Tiger' or harimau Malaya was shot in Choa Chu Kang in Singapore in 1935. 

Would 2035 be a good year for the remerger of Singapore and Malaysia? And Brunei too?  That is only 20 years away. If I am still alive I will be 75 years old.

Here is a 5 star issue folks. 

I believe we have a real long term problem festering along the Malaysia - Thai border.   This problem is not far away.  This is now an immediate problem. It is happening now. 

Take note : The Thai Malays will not assimilate or coexist in peace with the majority Buddhist Thais, not for a long time.   

It is possible the Thai Malay states of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat will become more and more autonomous. One day they may break away from Thailand.  

They may at last form the Ad-Daulah Islamiyah Al Fatoni.  (The Islamic State of Pattani).

And then there is already the fourth Thai Malay state ie Kelantan :

"Under the terms of the Anglo-Siamese Treaty of 1909, the Thais relinquished their claims over Kelantan ..."

Baru lagi.

Folks, after 58 years of Malaysia's Independence how much has Kelate 'assimilated' into the rest of the Peninsula?  And now Pas is so Kelate and Kelate is very much Pas - another divisive religious  identity. 

Other than their claims to have the keys to their imaginary paradise, they really do not have much else to offer the rest of the country.  This is my observation. 

Now here is another honest question. Jangan marah ya, lets try to discuss this intelligently : After 58 years of independence, what does Kelantan produce for the rest of the country? Can anyone make a very, very short list?  This is a question of relevance. 

How much has Pas stranglehold over Kelate increased the relevance of Kelate to the rest of Malaysia? Not much. 

There are cycles for everything, the ebb and the flow, the ups and the downs etc.  

• If Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani become more autonomous, 
• If a "Daulah Islamiyah Fatoni" comes into being,
• if Kelate becomes of even less relevance to the rest of Malaysia
• if the rest of the Malays and also the rest of Malaysia gets 'worn out' with Kelate,

then Kelate may relook its historical links and roots in Patani, Yala and Narathiwat.  Dont take this lightly.

Its no different from the Kurds, the Armenians, the Baluchis and the Pushtuns.

So what shall we do? Let me bore you again - there is always a solution for everything. Tapi hangpa tak mahu dengar. Biaq pi lah.
