We believe that by enabling equity in the Chambers brand through the showcasing of successful individuals in business within the community, our aim to raise the profile of individuals, members and the chambers movement in the broader business community at all local, national & regional levels will be realized.
This will be done through the Branding & Promotion of members companies and products in the events, printed media & social networks of international connection of our affiliated chambers .
Just in Melaka alone, statistical data shows that there are 3 000 individuals of Malaysian Indian heritage involved in business.
As such it is timely to shortlist this - our members success stories, for the morale and benefit of the whole local indian entrepreneurs community.
For new members, there will also be an economic gain through promotion and branding of their companies when we highlight the individual Indian business owner at our current stage of Malaysian Development.
We believe this can help members shine brighter should he /she be given a platform to perform and we sincerely believe this Branding and Promotion effort through the IEcM will further encourage them to develop their business and solicit future success.
So, in summary, for the Economic multiplier effect to take place, the empowerment process must also begin.
Being recognized and having their services broadcasted to a larger audience will help path this way.
