The Times we live in.

These are truly interesting times.

Today more is the key word everywhere.

More street crime.
More accidents.
More suicides.
More rivalry.
More law suits.

Everywhere it seems people these days are rushing and hustling for more.

Sociologically speaking, the effects in our daily life that we face today has its origin in our past through our actions and inactions.

As a street raised kid myself, my general opinion on this matter is as such;
As a nation, our systems have failed us.
Our educational, civil and administrative systems as we know it failed to prepare the youths of previous years for today's life as we know it.

I believe these same systems are still failing to prepare the masses of youths of present day .

I see in the public sphere today a bigger distinction between the haves and the have nots because of this division.

On the other hand, the privately educated youths are heads and shoulders apart in terms of confidence and character building.

This cannot be a good situation for this nation.

Do you know what is the biggest difference between children who grew up in a well to do family and children who grew up in a poor family?

Wealthy kids are usually healthier. If not, they have access to good health care.

Wealthy kids attend better schools, and are given tutoring and such

Wealthy kids have parents who spend more time with them, or can arrange for others to spend time with them.

Wealthy kids have financial freedom to pursue internships, volunteer or travel..which broadens their minds.

Wealthy kids get financial assistance to start their businesses.

It really builds up.

As stated earlier,
I am no Rockefeller,
I did through my early job end up in a community  and surrounding where the people around me were doctors, lawyers, businessmen and accountants.

Therefore, I learnt the effect of social engineering. (or a cruel trick of proggraming).

Also, you learn to notice that so many people aren’t taught how to manage money from young.

It’s not their fault, but it’s not taught in schools and yet,
you see financially comfortable parents often drill this into their kids from young.

The majority are not taught how to manage a bank book.

The majority are not taught about stocks and bonds.

The majority are not taught about taxation  & laws.

Some learnt about businesses only by observing friends and neighbors.

The majority lack introduction to people who could mentor  and guide in specific fields for the mutual benefit of self and nation.

It makes a huge difference.

And what I've seen was on a smaller scale.

Imagine life for the kids of the super wealthy.

You want to work at Facebook? Your dad is friends with Mark Zuckerberg, not a problem.

It builds up more and more.

But then, time and life are great balancers.

Its not impossible to come from the ground up.

Surely not, look at Jack Ma and Jack Welch and so many others.

But…is there a difference? Of course.... the biggest difference is in time and effort.

What is a 'HINDU' ?

In 1995, Chief Justice P. B. Gajendragadkarwas quoted in anIndian Supreme Court ruling:

When we think of the Hindu religion, unlike other religions in the world, the Hindu religion does not claim any one prophet; it does not worship any one god; it does not subscribe to any one dogma; it does not believe in any one philosophic concept; it does not follow any one set of religious rites or performances; in fact, it does not appear to satisfy the narrow traditional features of any religion orcreed. It may broadly be described as away of life and nothing more.

Common Misunderstandings on Hinduism

Vedanta (and all Hinduism) is entirely monistic, believing only in the all-pervading world-soul, Brahman, rather than a personal God

This advaita philosophy is certainly popular, and offers a simple explanation of the many deities. Nonetheless, many theologians have considered God to be a person. He is not merely an anthropomorphic representation, nor are the various deities and murtis simply incarnations or representations of an impersonal Supreme.

Thus Hinduism includes both monism and monotheism. It is misleading to call the Abrahamic religions,"the monotheistic traditions," implying that monotheism is absent from the Eastern traditions. Vedanta includes many monotheistic schools. They may accept the existence of many gods and goddesses, but strongly emphasizes the pre-eminence of the Supreme Deity.
