Gunabalan's Observances -1

I've written before that the woes of the Indian community that befell many parts of those in this country starting from the selling out of the estates and its community in the 70s to its inherent consequent where lowered life style choices and  decline of its people as a forward looking society is repeating itself today.

Every one can clearly see an approaching fiscal crisis or retirement crisis looming, with the retirement plans of most people in their 50s today the key to the next generations choices in life. (Bapa tiada cukup duit , anak macam mana mau senang)?

Malaysia expected Financial path going forward from now onwards seems repeating the era of the 70s inflationary movement.

It is the scariest and biggest and most predictable train wreck i can imagine given the charts  i see now.

Believe it or not, only further increase in Inflationary forces can help our nation move forward.
Our government deficit spending budgets will increase nearly every year over the next decade and rise to be the highest average level in the last 50 years every year from here onwards.
Growth in federal revenues will be outpaced by spending, particularly for Civil service salaries and  pensions, benefits and emoluments care;

And ....interest payments on government debt and bonds.

Those in their 50s and above today are less fortunate than their parents’ generation.
Most defined medical benefit & insurance plans values have been reduced by inflationary forces that offer no set guarantees in salary replacement for today's prices.

The hard reality of life today as it is is that Most of us will be still dependent on continuing to work beyond  age 60 if we are to maintain our life choices and standards....provided our Health is good.

Unfortunately, it is clear that savings will fall short of meeting most retirement expectations.

It is sad to note that Satisfaction, confidence and retirement preparedness have fallen steadily since 2011 despite positive equity returns, low market volatility and improving consumer sentiment.

Indepth  discusses the four horsemen of the retirement apocalypse:
Longevity;
Medical costs;
Financial repression;
and Inflation
will need to be done to help overcome these foresee able troubles.

These conversations need to concentrate more on how to retain the value of our Ringgit rather than accumulate more ringgits.... that is the only way these generation of pensionable citizens can overcome the problems laid out above.

What is a 'HINDU' ?

In 1995, Chief Justice P. B. Gajendragadkarwas quoted in anIndian Supreme Court ruling:

When we think of the Hindu religion, unlike other religions in the world, the Hindu religion does not claim any one prophet; it does not worship any one god; it does not subscribe to any one dogma; it does not believe in any one philosophic concept; it does not follow any one set of religious rites or performances; in fact, it does not appear to satisfy the narrow traditional features of any religion orcreed. It may broadly be described as away of life and nothing more.

Common Misunderstandings on Hinduism

Vedanta (and all Hinduism) is entirely monistic, believing only in the all-pervading world-soul, Brahman, rather than a personal God

This advaita philosophy is certainly popular, and offers a simple explanation of the many deities. Nonetheless, many theologians have considered God to be a person. He is not merely an anthropomorphic representation, nor are the various deities and murtis simply incarnations or representations of an impersonal Supreme.

Thus Hinduism includes both monism and monotheism. It is misleading to call the Abrahamic religions,"the monotheistic traditions," implying that monotheism is absent from the Eastern traditions. Vedanta includes many monotheistic schools. They may accept the existence of many gods and goddesses, but strongly emphasizes the pre-eminence of the Supreme Deity.
