The Isle of Gods memories

Sunny Bali, after the fog & smog in Melaka, even the air smells better and fresher in Bali !

Arts and crafts are everywhere here. Wonderful paintings depicting everyday life and even nudity is allowed (up to a degree)

Their Hotels and resorts are top notch !Beautiful lakes, landscaped gardens verdant padi fields, sea front and beach to die for and mountain views that are mesmerizing!

This lake view is on top a mountain plateau.

They seem to have a reason to dress up often because like Hindu's everywhere there's always a festival,celebration and occasion to dress up for !

I haven't bumped across one of this rickshaw's since the early 70's back in Melaka. he served it with lots of  shredded meat, fried onions and spices. Yummy!

 Caught this ensemble on the 3rd day here, while visiting their local temple cum tourist pit stop.

"bebek"- is the local lingo for these ducks who seemed ready for  another day of carefree frolicking in paradise.

Our generous helping of seafood  which was served by the beach with miles and miles of sand and surf in front of us.

Kuta beach on the 4th day. There were also wind surfing, kite flying, sail boating activities too!

Pure stone artistry abound in this place.

I saw this at the local restaurant where we stopped for Lunch . Orchid and Ginger plants that absolutely Cantik habes.These were found everywhere actually.

Habih shopping la ni.Funny how the pockets seems lighter ever time we depart one of these jeweler shops.

Picture is of communal bathing before entering the temples.The water is from a nearby mountain and there is also a sparkling river flowing beside this temple. Absolutely awe inspiring.

I wonder is that is really his hair under there?
