ThaT Jolly Life

The day is sunny, bright and ever so slightly on the cloudy side.
Perfect Saturday weather....... for getting the plumbing works that needed to be done for the House completed . The pressure coming into the house has been low the last couple of years and I've figured out we need to do a bypass on the plumbing and water intake system to provide for the higher psi needed in the house.......
so, today a good day as any to get everything into gear and let the contractors do their work.

You know you've entered a watch and wait period when the Funk feeling suddenly sets in on even your accomplishments and every schedule, assignment and job just feels so difficult to finish.

When you don't try to rush things along & everything feels like its just the same old, same old.

That's because even though we are aware,it takes time for an seed to grow into a tree; in this fast paced, grab all while you can competitive world, the need to rest is purposely pushed aside to keep chasing the goal we set for ourselves.

Sometimes, when you have been speeding along for so long ,you don't know how to turn down the speed, that's when the body takes over automatically to make you feel like you must relax, take  opportunity to rest and relax.

Normally, we enjoy the prospect of seeing friends and attending parties, making opportunities but suddenly we feel we'll rather stay home, wearing comfortable pyjamas and eating comfort food. Turning off the mobile and pull down the shades. maybe take the nearest transport to that far away hideaway joint that no one knows you have.

This is the time to be flexible about scheduling appointments. Switch things around to accommodate someone who only has a small window of time to meet. Show the world you too can bend over backwards to accommodate them. Who knows, find the right appreciative /crowd and you could embark on a business venture that is both financially and emotionally rewarding.

Having a little private time will give you an attractive glow that is hard to resist !

What is a 'HINDU' ?

In 1995, Chief Justice P. B. Gajendragadkarwas quoted in anIndian Supreme Court ruling:

When we think of the Hindu religion, unlike other religions in the world, the Hindu religion does not claim any one prophet; it does not worship any one god; it does not subscribe to any one dogma; it does not believe in any one philosophic concept; it does not follow any one set of religious rites or performances; in fact, it does not appear to satisfy the narrow traditional features of any religion orcreed. It may broadly be described as away of life and nothing more.

Common Misunderstandings on Hinduism

Vedanta (and all Hinduism) is entirely monistic, believing only in the all-pervading world-soul, Brahman, rather than a personal God

This advaita philosophy is certainly popular, and offers a simple explanation of the many deities. Nonetheless, many theologians have considered God to be a person. He is not merely an anthropomorphic representation, nor are the various deities and murtis simply incarnations or representations of an impersonal Supreme.

Thus Hinduism includes both monism and monotheism. It is misleading to call the Abrahamic religions,"the monotheistic traditions," implying that monotheism is absent from the Eastern traditions. Vedanta includes many monotheistic schools. They may accept the existence of many gods and goddesses, but strongly emphasizes the pre-eminence of the Supreme Deity.
