One week into the Chinese New Year

Though the recent hard Times in terms of relationship between my wife and I had been resolved some what with the current absence of the interloper, the family remains the focal point of my resolve to win over my wife's attention and care. We do it by concentrating our daily happiness on the family and close friends that share a bond with us.

The long holidays give us good reason to get together and fete each other as well as those dear to us and spend some rest and recreational time together to relive the bonds of love and relationship.As the years age us more and the dim memories of days old gather dust within the dark recesses of our minds, these occasions of fun and frolic relive us the opportunities to reminisce and regale each other of  our dreams, foolishness and good times we once went through together.

As the date draws nearer by the day to the completion of another new month, with the holiday mood still amongst us brightly singing the joy and melodies of the heart, we embarked on another food excursion with friends and relation. This occasion was to the Malacca Club's current friday vegan feast which is becoming quite a popular repast with the members and their friends as word gets around of the good cooking and cheap prices.

On Fridays, our Club's Town House has a vegetarian Buffet priced @ RM 8.75 per pax for members



Nice spread with about 30 individual dishes.

My favorite cabbage dish sauteed in coriander, star aniseed, dill, & mixed with curry leaves and carrots.

The dishes I found were very Melaka Chitty style which is a mixture of Indian and Malay mix
 that is peculiar to Melaka

My aunties found herself thoroughly enjoying  the sumptuous spread as she is a vegan.

To cap off the events of the day, an invite to dinner was suddenly dropped on us by our son Utheya to join his wife and mother in law for Dinner and to Lo Hei with them @ New Lagoon Chinese Restaurant in Melaka Raya.

Later in that same evening, our son and his wife invited us to partake in the Lo Hei  ritual at the local  restaurant to foster the bond of family relationship and wish us all a fortuitous year ahead.

5 differently prepared appetizers.

He's been working for almost a year now with Celcom, but will stop
 to start his diploma in MultiMedia University by June 2012

We also were served the steamed black sea bass sauteed with ginger and garlic & sea salt.
The dish was absolulutely divine !

This  fish was probably swimming happily in the sea yesterday but today,
 the poor sod made for a great eating experience for us !

The prized dish for the evening was a RM500.00 prosperity dish  for 10 persons
consisting of NZ Abolene,Fish maw, Sea cucumbers;
Pork Fillets shrooms and King Prawns

ready to be consumed with glutton & relish .

On Sunday, after a much needed rest after all the visiting, eating and fanfare of the week was reconciled; my brother in law invited my family and I to another Dinner here in TC Spring Restaurant in Bukit Bruang to celebrate what the chinese term as ( everybody Birthday date:)
