The recent Christmas celebration gave the family an opportunity to get together and relax the whole day without anyone having to rush over anywhere apart from the compulsory visits to Michelle's brother's house for the annual Christmas get together lunch.
Utheya was there also to join in the fun and we spent a good portion of the afternoon discussing his new venture into the Car wash business.
Later in that evening, sandra invited all of us to get together in her place in Trenquerah for some Yule festive celebration.
It was a quiet, niece evening of camarederie and good fun as Clarice brought along her boyfriend from Sarawak ( with strict instruction to everyone not to speak about David !) to join in with us for the evening dinner and drinks.
The Kids brought their own fire crackers to light up and mess about with in the house 's vast compound; whereas Pyrelal and his wife brought some home made pie and Beers for me and Michelle to share.
Seelan dropped in on us around 10 pm and he was promptly followed by Kayode and his girlfriend.
Everyone exchanged gifts and we were ushered home around 12.30 am as another batch of people coming in to celebrate and cheer the festive spirit meant the place was starting to get a little cramped !
The pleasant evening meant a lot to Michelle as she misses this type of get togethers and christian good cheer in recent years as I was quiet happy to just hole up in our room and watch the TV while the world went about it's jolly ways.
