The fresh fish served ala Thai sweet sour style and spicy flavor infused Vietnamese mussels were excellent dishes for that hot languid afternoon as the party digged in on every morsel of delicious seafood presented to us amidst the general scenery of swaying trees and the daily cacophony of noises coming from the Melaka River which reminds us of the many enchanting tales and history of yester years along these river banks.

Almost similar to the Indonesian Gado -Gado salad, these vietnamese styled light snacks are tastefully provided with a superb blend of Thai based piquant spicy sauce that simply begged you to eat more !

The soft shell crab is a must try but I did warn Andrew to make it slightly crispier and less oily to accommodate the Malaccan taste buds.

Overall it was a very nice meal presented in an an excellent atmospheric locality that bring the beauty of the malacca river to the fore front for the enjoyment of every local and tourist to these blessed shores.
That same evening, over in Seri Malaysia Hotel in ayer keroh, Mr. Sazali-owner of said establishment had an open invitation out to the members of the Malacca Tourism Assc to attend a 4 course western dinner courtesy of his Hotel @ the Jonker Kafe.
It 's been a while since we last met Sazali, and this sit down dinner gave us a proper avenue to discuss and chat over fine food the various plans we intend to do next year.
It looks like 2013 will be a very hectic year with all the proposed plans thrown about during Dinner with several major events being planned as in Go Green certificate Course for head's of department and Business owners to comply with the state governments Green tech desires'.
A golf Tournament in may 2013 & The Bi -Annual Malam Anugerah Pelancongan Melaka- which is a very big RM 120,000 ringgit event for MTA.
