The children are all off to school, me mums off to her friends,the house is quite with nary a mouse stirring.

Had din-din with the missus yesterday night at the B.B. street court; she had the ginger based bee hoon soup and i had Roti Telor & Roti kosong with dalcha. (Good tasting meal).

Prior to that we had an interesting talk in which i opposingly told her off for not having her priorities right vis-a-vis the stand I've taken with Selat as her husband and business owner.
The main problem summarised is that immaterial of what the clients wants, needs, or desire, the operation that we provide cannot be compromised in sense of integrity.
The definition of integrity here is that, after all services contracted for had been provided, the passion and humility to offer even more better service, in terms of duties above and beyond the scope of work should be appreciated. If ( as in this case); the clients feel they need not offer any emotional gratitude,i.e. defending the sanctity of the office; for what is being offered to them by this outfit and me, then the best case scenario is to part ways amicably.

Any reasons/ offered excuses of both parties (clients & provider) will not bring the unresolved emotional issues to bear nor pretend to solicit back normal working relations.My reasoning to her, hopefully resonances the respect i have for my trade and the services that our outfit offers. You can only get respect whence you respect yourself. That, and the knowledge that the lord giveth and loves us always.

Moving on, the evening air was quite heavy with the smell of sweat & labor as Grace Soon wrote in requesting that the reinstatement of the managing agent gunabalan be informed to the commisioner of buildings and that the office of the commisioner respects the property owners wishes.
Secondly, another letter was also shot out regretting the decision by the commmisioner to allow the in-fighting in the condo property to carry on for these past 10 weeks and due to this many security breach incidences were encountered by the SP's.
I was also informed that the opposing committee with the help and authority of the COB dept had submitted a bill of RM 12,000++ to the administration office for payment of "services rendered" ??? WTF ??

There's something rotten in this state of affairs!

Anyways, these requests were quickly met and the letters accordingly posted out back to the clients within the hour. Mr. Gan of HK1 also called requesting we meet face to face soon as he has some problems he needs me to overcome for the SP's. A quick check with the calendar and the proposal to have Dinner at the Dragon Deluxe Restaurant on the 31st of March was proposed. I also proposed that lawyer Koh be invited alongside Grace Gan for friendship purposes since the dinner will be on me.

Kashmir Santiago from the insurance company called to inform that the proposal to cover the apartments for a minimum of 15 million will be ready soon, and that any evaluation for the correct insurence amount would have to be done by a valuer independently. (OK-lah , buddy!).
