I had a rude shock recently when the EPF dept sent me a red note stating that i am in arrears of RM 11,000.00 for two months of unpaid workers contribution ! How can this be ? Quickly call the CFO (Michelle) and found out that she has kept all the contribution details,
so it was just a matter of clearing up the discrepancy. She came back the next day to say the appointment to meet the officer was successful and they just wanted to see our records to confirm what we said . All is good and well,then.
PHEEW!
We also received some distressing news that my wife's aunty passed away on sunday night from the coma she was in. We worry how the husband and boys will take care of themselves without the mother around. The Funeral will be on thursday, 11/03/2010 at Lorong Pandan,Melaka.

On another note, the chairman of HK1has decided to go on a vacation for the next two weeks and he called for an urgent meeting to discuss distribution of duties while he 's away. As consultant, he hoped i can show face once in a while to ensure everything's in order while he's away. I promised it would be done. I also took the opportunity to invite them to a private investment detail on the current market conditions hosted by my friend from KSC investments-Phillip Tay
Both the treasurer and the chairman accepted my invitation and we met that same day in rennaissance for the talk. It was, as usual an astute talk by industry professionals and we met Yeo Khian Huat, Tirath and the usual guys there as well. Surprisingly, there were even a group of local indian guys this time around, which was a refreshing to see. We also bumped into (literally) Dr.Parthiban from pantai (the erstwhile missing surgeon); who as usual breezed in and breezed out just as fast,as he said he was late for a meeting that he was chairing on the same floor.
The day ended for me around 8.30 pm after all was said and done.

The next day was spent mainly at home during the initial part part of the morning as i started preparing for my managing agents report for SH Management Corporation. I haven't entered the compound of Selat since january 15th, and i am not to keen on going there back. But, a contract is a contract, and i supposed i would have to be professional about it and block out my personal feelings.

I had the report ready by 11am and had it sent out to the office for some editing and financial figures input. Got to be ready to meet the lawyer Avatar by 2.30 pm, so without much time to waste, i factored in the amount of time it would take to pick up my second son,Chandra from school, sent him back and meet up with the others .

We managed to wrap up everything by 4.30pm and avatar will follow up on the conclusion and implementation of our instructions. (He's charging RM 10,000 just to receive instructions and follow up on our corporations legal paper work!)
